The MR/PLD is the engine ECU fitted to many different Mercedes-Benz trucks and buses. The most common fault in these ECUs is in the injector circuit, resulting in misfiring. This can be caused by a fault on the vehicle or by a failure of the unit itself. Our purpose-built testing bench allows us to run the MR/PLD ECU as if it is running on a truck to thoroughly test it. Once we confirm a faulty ECU, it is put through our proven rebuild procedure which repairs and prevents this and many other common faults using uprated components. We even replace broken or chipped ECU connectors. Once the rebuild is complete, the ECU goes through another full test to confirm a successful rebuild.
