The control unit for the 722.8 continuously variable transmission (CVT) suffers from many internal failures, most commonly to do with the speed sensor circuits. - 0721: The rpm signal of component Y3/9b5 (CVT output rpm sensor) is implausible.
- 0723: The rpm signal of component Y3/9b5 (CVT output rpm sensor) is implausible.
- 0792: The rpm signal of component Y3/9b4 (CVT secondary rpm sensor) is implausible.
